Engine

• The V 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine V2403CR offers state-of-the-art engine technology for high performance, fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.
• E-TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System) ensures improved performance, lower fuel consumption and emissions, and smooth engine start-up.
• The DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) reduces nitrogen oxide emissions and ensures continuous minimum regeneration in the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter).
• Two electric reversing cooling fans for the engine cooling radiator and the oil cooler react immediately to temperature differences and prevent overheating.

Driveline

• Forward and reverse speed on the FC4-501 is controlled by two pedals.
• Two speed ranges are available for different applications – for mowing and for road travel.

• The parking brake is easily locked and unlocked with a switch and ensures safe parking even on steep terrain.

Mower decks

• The front mower deck with a width of 1.50 m (59") offers high productivity with high cutting quality even in wet conditions.
• The "swing back" system with "swing back" twin blades absorbs shocks and protects the mower driveline from being hit by foreign objects in the grass.
• The mower deck can be hinged and fixed in a vertical position for sharpening or replacing the blades.
• A rocker switch on the armrest console raises and lowers the mower deck.
• There are several blade options for the 61" (1.55 m) wide flail mower.

Grass collector

• The unique suction turbine ensures a smooth filling of the large grass collector.
• Lift, lower, tilt, retract – the grass collection is conveniently operated from the operator's seat using the single-lever joystick.
• The maximum unloading height of the grass collector with a whopping 1,300-litre capacity is 2.30 metres.
• Various functions of the grass collector ensure that the hopper volume can be fully utilized.
• A hydraulically controlled parallelogram system and a large tipping clearance allow effective and safe unloading.
