It has a chain speed of 20m/s and is supplied with a 30cm bar length to help you complete the tasks in front of you. A helpful battery indicator light will alert you when you're running low on power, as will the oil indicator light when the 200ml oil reservoir needs a top up.

With industry-leading Arc-Lithium battery technology at its heart, the Top Handle Chainsaw provides unrivalled performance and ease of cut, whilst benefitting from long run-times and fast recharge. And with no pull-chord, no need to run the tool in idle and no hot exhaust, switching to EGO Arc-Lithium power makes more sense than ever.

To improve usability, the chainsaw’s battery is mounted on the accompanying holster, rather than on the tool itself. Taking weight off the tool, improves ergonomics and optimises its power-to-weight ratio for reliable and safe performance, all without the need for any additional cords, with the power cable intelligently integrated directly into the safety strop.

A unique Chain-Brake Safety System is a cutting edge combination of mechanical and electronic technology reducing the risk of injury, stopping the tool’s motor faster if kickback occurs.

Additional features on the tool make working at height even easier – the Battery-Level Indicator Light alerts you when 10% of battery power is left, while the visible Oil Indicator Light comes on when the tool needs a top up.
