Our latest model in the
field of firewood saws is the SMA-700 with a powerful 15 HP petrol engine
( LonCin
G-420F ) and a 700 mm
circular saw blade.
With this saw you can
cut through a tree trunk in a split second. Thanks
to the almost loss-free, direct belt drive, you hardly notice how the trunk
travels through the blade.
The engine has an
automatic low-oil cut-out and can be started with a pull starter or
alternatively with the integrated electric starter. A
12 volt battery has been installed specifically for this purpose on the
saw.
In contrast to most of
the rocking saws on the market in this price range, our SMA-700 has its own
undercarriage with pneumatic tires and a drawbar with ball head
coupling. So
the saw can be easily transported around the yard! Many
competitor models have only very small hard plastic rollers and are not suitable
for moving, let alone moving on soft surfaces!
The rocker can be
widened on the left side to get a larger surface for the wood if
necessary; an
approx. 20 cm widening is included in the scope of delivery.
On the right side the
seesaw has a stop with which you can saw your wood to an exact
size. The
stop consists of a solid flat iron profile and is absolutely
stable. Many
rocking saws only use a thin sheet metal or plastic stop, which does not really
last long and bends or breaks quickly. You
can stop at max. Saw
exactly 56 cm.
The hammer finish is
very resistant and insensitive. The
diameter of the wood to be sawn may not exceed 270 mm and must be at least 25
mm. For safe working and
locking of the clippings, the saw has a pair of pliers with which you can guide
the wood to the blade.
Another difference to
many competing products is that our saw complies with all applicable
regulations and has been subjected to the EC type examination.
