The Jansen VMA-240 flail mower with hydraulic side shift is characterized by its particularly robust construction. It has a specially reinforced bevel gear and can be used excellently as a mulching mower, tractor mower and as a shredder or chopper. It is professional quality, designed for municipal and commercial, but of course also for private use!

The tractor mower has a mowing width of 232 cm and is driven via the PTO shaft included in the scope of delivery.

With the help of the hydraulic side shift, the mulcher can be moved left and right. For this function you need a hydraulic control circuit on your tractor / tractor, because the mower has a double-acting hydraulic cylinder for this.



Your tractor should have at least 80 hp.

The fold-up maintenance flap enables access to the flail shaft, which makes changing the hammer flail and any maintenance work even easier. We would like to point out that according to the German UVV, the maintenance flap must be closed when mowing to prevent stones, etc. from escaping.

The cutting height can be adjusted using the runners on the side. The 22 specially hardened 1.2 kg hammer knives, which are arranged in a spiral around the drive shaft, shred the clippings to a minimum. Even very tall grass, bushy or straw clippings are no problem for this mower!

In addition, the VMA-240 has a very heavy trailing roller with scraper and a freewheel gear.

The double spiral rotor with its even rotor load ensures particularly smooth running and long durability with much less effort. Even very tall grass, bushy or straw clippings are no problem with this mower!



Pendulum chains on the front of the mower block prevent stones from escaping etc. The mower is hung in the three-point linkage of your tractor (from Cat. II, with slight adjustment also Cat. I). The mower is equipped with an opening flap, which makes it ideal for chopping straw. The flap also facilitates any maintenance work.
