The BX-42 RS model is the latest version of the BX shredder, which has double-sided suspension of the feed rollers and a reinforced feed hopper.

The wood chipper is delivered complete with PTO. A shear pin is installed on one side of the PTO shaft, which for safety reasons serves as a predetermined breaking point in the event of blockages or overloads. Softer woods can be shredded with dimensions of up to 15 cm wide; such diameters are usually processed into firewood and are not chopped.

The processing of the BX-42RS is very solid; The material thicknesses of the sheets used are 10 and 5 mm in the load-bearing area, 2 mm on the funnels and on non-load-bearing parts.

The funnel can be easily folded up for transport and secured with a split pin.

The machine is very easy to maintain; so you can open the entire flywheel cover by loosening just one screw and have access to the 4 cutting blades. These cutting knives have blades on both sides so that they can be easily rotated if necessary. The flywheel has a dead weight of 50 kg and has attached wings, which generate the very strong pull through which the shredded material is ultimately blown out through the discharge funnel. Clogging of the shredder is almost impossible due to this very strong draft.

The discharge funnel has a height of 152 cm (plus the lower link lift) and can be rotated 360 degrees. This means that the shredded material can easily be filled onto higher trailers or directly into big bags. The ejection angle can also be changed. The BX-42RS throws the shredded material up to 6 meters!
